Effective and compact reverse osmosis filter

This reverse osmosis water filter is perfect for my RV or even car camping with a small A/C inverter power pack. It's very easy to use. Just plug it in and fill the big water container. It'll filter into the 40oz water pitcher included or into any glass. The build quality seems solid and it's surprisingly quiet in use. The water taste good too. I especially love that it has a built in UV filter to take care of any bacteria, especially when using it with clean river water while camping. One thing I found a bit annoying is the 17 oz (500mL) dispensing setting. I usually like to grab a pint glass of water but 17oz makes it a bit too full. One reviewer noted that about 1/5 of the water is left in the tank that it doesn't use. This is the waste water that's left over after the filter process. Reverse osmosis filters use a little extra water than they produce and this waste water just gets thrown out before you refill the large container. Overall it works well and is fairly priced. I'm glad I ordered it.

Drink Clean Water and Be Healthier! Solid, Well Supported Machine!

So far, so good! It's great to remove fluoride and other chemicals from water! Remember, water companies only have two choices...they can deliver bacteria to your house or chemicals. The reason they do not offer whole home water treatment systems as part of their service is because if they did they would be admitting guilt. Have used this device for over a month and learned some important items so that it functions correctly. I will share them now.1. Put in new filter. Run three tanks of water. (Each time the tank is finished, there will still be a bit of water in the tank. Remove tank, empty remaining water and then refill tank to Max. Level line. This is critical to proper function.) Empty first, then refill.2. Then let machine "rest" for 24 hours. This allows the new RO filter to fully "inflate" and function properly. (Before I switch to new filter, I make sure I have enough reserve water for the next 24 hours. Easy.)3. After 24 hours, start using the machine for clean, 99% chemical free water.4. Once a tank is finished, empty it first, then refill. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are accumulating in the tank and this is the reason it must be emptied and then refilled. We want to keep the TDS well below 100 during normal operation.5. When you order this machine, also order an extra filter so that you have no delay in filtration. Always have an extra filter ready to go!6. If you need help, contact their customer support. They were quick to respond and provided excellent/generous help.

Stylish, nice looking UV Reverse Osmosis filtering system. Recommended.

Nice, sleek, stylish black, smoked and clear plastic.Feels heavy. Hopefully, means it has metal reverse osmosis metal machinery.Very solid.Greatly appreciate handles on "Tap Water Tank" and "Removable Pure Water Pitcher".Very quiet as it quickly goes to work purifying my 500+ tap water 🚰NOTE: Not asked for but I always use "Ice Machine Cleaner" on new water related products.I searched over 8 hours for a UV / Reverse Osmosis filter but only one "checked all the boxes".UVReverse OsmosisEasy filter replacement. 7-Step is best I came across. Simple replacement: Open cover, lift out old, put in new, close cover.Recommended

Mine is Defective?

In theory, this RO unit is a nice thing to have. Probably not a great option for more than 2 people in a household. The pitcher is relatively small, at least for my use case where I fill up a water bottle which I will drink from. If you pour a cup to drink right away, that's a different story. I love the bottom-up fill feature for the pitcher. It feels and looks futuristic. The main water tank needs to be refilled fairly often (again specific to my family of 4). It's really easy to do, but it takes a bit of time to get drinkable water. Just a couple minutes is all.So, apart from being on the smaller side, the reason I gave it fewer stars is because the water dispenser does not appear to work correctly. There are options to set how many ounces you want it to dispense, but it with trickle out an "almost stream" and get a few milliliters of water out. I've tried multiple times and I'm not sure what is causing it.Overall, I like the design of it, and it's a good way to get filtered water. But mine must be defective or something.

It works pretty well but could be better

Me and my partner just moved to a new home and needed a way to filter our water which is why I decided to order this RO water system. So first off, I will say it is easy to set up and get this device started, it's convenient to have right on the counter top, and the design looks nice, I do like it, but I have some constructive criticism.1. The hot water dispenser system is confusing for one, and two, it puts out cold water first and requires you to have a second cup to then dispose of that first bit of cold water before it puts out hot. That's inconvenient and annoying and I shouldn't have to memorize the right set of steps to make the hot water dispense.2. The back water compartment is huge, but the machine does not, in my opinion, use it's water supply correctly. It for some reason saves some water in the back compartment that it won't ever use to fill up the pitcher, or to dispense hot water with. It's like it saves a fifth of the water in the back for no reason that it won't ever use, which doesn't make sense and makes you have to fill it up more than I feel you should.3. It's kind of slow to filter water and fill up, and sometimes if you don't fill up the back all the way it doesn't automatically start filtering it and fill up the chamber unless you unplug it and plug it back in to reset it.Otherwise it works okay, it's got a slim profile and sits on my counter well. My boyfriend appreciates that the pitcher pours well and doesn't spill easily. The filter is pretty good and gets it down to only 7PPM when we tested it, so not bad. It leaves the water without any taste that I can personally perceive. At the current price though of $400, I don't get that at all, I don't feel that that is a good value for the money for what you get, it's a cool device, but not $400 cool, especially since it has issues, so I would not be willing to order it again at that price for sure.
